Rabbi Douglas Charring

Rabbi Douglas Charring came to school to talk to the children about the Jewish Faith and the Jewish way of life. The children were divided into year groups and each group were told about something different.

Reception children were shown pictures and were told about the 'Shebat - Sabbath' then after morning break Rabbi Charring told Year 1 all about Jewish family life, he showed them the Hebrew alphabet and how when people read Hebrew they read from right to left not left to right like we do. Year 2 children were told all about the Jewish festival of Passover.
