Kirk Sandall Decathlon – Summer 2007

 

All the children had the opportunity to take part in a ‘Sports Day with a difference’. They were all able to compete in 10 events and were active all afternoon. We have to say an enormous thank you to children from Kirk Sandall Juniors and Hungerhill who helped to make the events successful and very enjoyable. Our volunteers helped with the recording so we were able to ensure there was a real competitive element to the afternoons. Gold, silver and bronze medals were awarded for each event and there were also certificates for achievements.  The children had been practising their skills throughout the term and amazed us with their performances on the days. We were very lucky to have such good weather for the afternoons and intend to continue to develop these events next year.
